Month 89 - Reserve Run - 7/2/2011

Nutt, Quat, T-Ster and the newest member of the golf circle, Rew Nuttall made a treck to Poland, OH for a early morning round. Rew played pretty well and carded 4 par’s in his Ohio debut. Quat and T-Ster each had a birdie, but the story was Nuttall and his score. On the 18th hole, Nuttall was left with an 18 foot putt for birdie. He left it about 6 feet short and buried the par putt for what turned out to be an even par 70 round. A highlight is below on the 12th hole when Nuttall drove the 307 yard par 4 hole protected by water. 2 putts later, he had a bird.

Month 88 - Tom's Run - 6/5/2011

YaMooWhoo Off the Deck

Nutt and Quat booked the 1st tee time at Tom’s Run after a 2 year hiatus. The 2 met at Sheetz at 5:45 and were teeing off by 6:55. The 2 flew through the round and had a pair of clowns tailing them who constantly attempted to press them. A few years back, Nutt attempted to hit the driver on his 2nd shot on the 9th hole, a par 5. The duo constantly referenced this and the former YaMooWho driver and the round became know as YaMooWhoo Off the Deck. On 18, the clowns behind hit into us a final time. The round was over at 9:50 and Nutt and Quat were worried that we had finished too quick and would miss out on Clem’s. After the round, we found that Clem’s opened at 10 AM and Nuttall was eating ribs at 10:15 AM for one of the all-time great breakfasts.

Month 87 - Birsdsfoot (Nuttall 5/22/2011) - Shelridge Golf Club - (Quat 5/30/2011)

May turned to be one of the wettest May’s in Pittsburgh history. Nutt and Maz played on 5-22 at Birdsfoot and snuck a round in before a rain storm hit.

Quat ended up playing what may have turned out to the worst conditions of all time at Shelridge, NY. Record rain hit the Buffalo area and Quat mudded through a round as the streak pushed to 87 for both.
