Month 112 – Tom's Run - 06/09/2013

Nutt and Quat headed out to Blairsville for another shot at Tom’s Run. After paying at the desk and heading for the tee, we were called back to the clubhouse. The worker was pretty chapped and said that they booked a cheap rate on Golfnow.com that was for a foursome only. He was looking for us to pay the difference for 2 empty slots. After a dead quiet, he said he didn’t want to get into it but asked we pay attention the next time and we carried on at the $45.00 rate. The round was pretty businesslike and the post round Clem’s made up for all the mediocre shots on the round.

Also in the month, Quat took Mr. Jill and his friend Flip to Olde Stonewall for their 1st time. A beautiful day and a few pics below from the round. Quat’s 45 on the front was quickly overshadowed by his 52 on the back. A birdie on 7 and at the time, closest to the pin resulted in no new driver.

Nuttall also got out with Billy Nuttall and T-ster to Grandview in June and a 2nd trip to Tom’s Run with Rew and Billy.

Quat and Nutt played on 6/30 at Birdsfoot in a heavy fog for 5 holes. Paired with a pro that played from the tips, we were excited to see a guy make some great shots. After 18 holes, we still wait.

Pics are from all the rounds.
